detailed personality:To be blunt, Harlequin is a self-centered girl who's curiosity is about as lethal as her swordsmanship. She's stuck up and obsessed with appearances. Quin is the spoiled princess of panthers in a way yet this Kaito is quite fond of her master, Melophane. She enjoys the praise she receives when she pleases him. Speaking of which, you should feel lucky that she's owned by Mel. If she were to belong to a regular Kurori, all Hell would most definitely reign about.
Anyway, Quin's impulsive and quite an easy person to read. Despite this, she's definitely hard to get along with considering she oft angers people when she criticizes the way they look. She's stubborn and yet easily scared but tries not to show such weaknesses because she's a little more than proud of being Melophane's Kaito. Therefore, she frequently thinks she's holding his reputation and her own up though she's a bit uncertain of who's she thinks is more important.[/color]

detailed history: Quin was born in Erebus, closer to the outskirts of town since by the time she was born the natural disaster had occurred and her family was hiding away in an incredibly small hut. Her parents told her the basics of how to survive away from civilization and how to hide from the Kurori and their Kaito. This was her life. Every day was a struggle to survive and scavenge for food.
As she continued to grow up with her poverty-like lifestyle, her father finally came to her at the age of ten to show her how to handle a sword. Practicing became a daily routine. Cuts, bruises, and fractures became normal for a girl like her. It was a wonderful life in the eyes of Quin and yet this life had to end at the age of thirteen.
When Quin became thirteen years of age, Kurori seemed to have found her family and their hut while she was out practicing her swordsmanship. It was the sound of her mother screaming and her father yelling that caught her attention. Of course, she came running though she was cautious considering the fact her parents were screaming and yelling for Quin to run to Urecules. She hid herself between thorn bushes and a large boulder which quite a ways away from her parents and the Kurori, yet somehow it seemed all too clear.
Her mother became a Kaito on the spot and the Kurori who now commanded her... ordered her father's death. With teary eyes and no will of her own, she performed it and took her husband's soul for the Kurori. They burned the hut to the ground and left with Quin's mother. Quin lost track of time there and stayed unmoved. She had just witnessed her father being murdered by her mother who was now a hostage to a demon. Her family was now non-existent.
Harlequin became a different type of person from that day on. She held herself high and became a brat seeing as there was no one to discipline her when she submerged herself in the rebellious stage. She referred to herself as Harlequin and had moved to Urecules.
Two years later, when Harlequin became fifteen years of age, she met Melophane, a Kurori who planned to fight the other Kurori. She can't quite recall why Melophane had made her into a Kaito but perhaps it was because she had a sharp eye, or because she had no family left and she was still young. Or maybe... it was because he could sense that she wanted to take down the Kurori just as much as he did.
It has been four years that Harlequin has been serving Melophane, and she certainly doesn't plan on stopping now.[/color]
